Buffalo launches new portable DVD drive

Buffalo launches the new DVSM-P58U2/B external portable DVD SuperMulti writer. With 23mm thickness and 360g of weight it is a perfect for carrying around in your laptop bag. It uses a USB 2.0 interface and supports writing on DVD-RAM, DVD-R/RW/R-DL, DVD+R/RW/R-DL as well as CD-R/RW discs. It writes Single layer DVD at up to 8X and Dual layer DVD at up to 6X. Black and white colors are available.

Buffalo DVSM-P58U2/B is available now in Japan and priced at approximately $80.
