Samsung presents cheap SSDs
The manufacturer Samsung brings some small and less expensive solid state drives on the market. Those drives are made for budget notebooks.

Samsung expands its product range by another device. The new products are small solid state drives which are made for entry-level notebooks and netbooks.
The SSDs are equipped with a SATA 2 connector and they need less than one third of the space like a 2.5-inch hard drive does. Furthermore, the solid state drives offer a capacity of 8 GB, 16 GB or 32 GB and they are based on MLC chips.
The reading speed is specified with 90 MB/s and the specified writing speed differs from 25 MB/s to 70 MB/s depending on the size (8 to 32 GB). Samsung did not say a word about prices so far, but the drives should be "low priced".
