New light-weight HP EliteBook
Hewlett Packard expands its product line by the new notebooks EliteBook 2530p and EliteBook 2730p.

HP EliteBook 2530p:
The new Hewlett Packard EliteBook 2530p is a ultra light-weight notebook. It offers a 12.1-inch display which shows content with the WXGA resolution and it is equipped with LED backlight as well.
The processor is an Intel Core 2 Duo LV SL 9000 CPU or an Intel Core 2 Duo ULV SU 9000 processor. The notebooks RAM can be up to 8 GB and a ExpressCard slot is integrated as well.
The mass storage device of the notebook is a common hard drive with a disk size of 80 GB, 120 GB or 160 GB, or a solid state drive with a capacity of 80 GB. The installed graphics is a mobile Intel GMA 4500MHD.
A wireless LAN adapter and a Bluetooth 2.0 module provide wireless communication. The HP EliteBook 2530p will be available in mid-October and it costs € 1.299.
HP EliteBook 2730p:
The HP EliteBook 2730p also is equipped with a 12.1-inch display which shows content with a resolution of 1.280 x 800 pixels. Furthermore, the screen offers a LED backlight and it offers a touch screen functionality as well. Therefore, the notebook can be reformed to get a tablet pc and a pen or a finger can be used to control the device.
The installed processor is an Intel Core 2 Duo LV SL 9000 CPU and up to 8 GB RAM can be integrated as well. The notebook offers an ExpressCard slot and a mobile Intel GMA 4500MHD is built in too.
The hard disk offers a capacity of up to 120 GB and a wireless LAN adapter and a Bluetooth 2.0 module provide communication. The HP EliteBook 2730p will be available in mid-October and it costs € 1.399.
