Commodore brings its own netbook

Finally, Commodore brings its own netbook on the market. The name of the device is Commodore UMMD 8010/F and it will be a competitor to the Asus Eee PC.

The new netbook Commodore UMMD 8010/F offers a 10-inch display. It provides a VIA C7-M CPU with 1.6 GHz and the device is equipped with 1 GB RAM.

The mass storage device is a common hard drive and it provides a capacity of 80 GB. Furthermore, a wireless LAN adapter is built in and optionally a Bluetooth module is available.

The Commodore UMMD 8010/F will cost approximately $ 600 (~ € 414) and therefore it is not one of the cheapest netbooks.
