Sony starts a big recall of its Vaio notebooks.
The Associated Press reports that Sony calls some of its Vaio notebooks back. Approximately, 440.000 Vaio notebooks which where bought between May 2007 and July 2008 get recalled, because they could have a heat problem.
19 Vaio models are affected with this problem. Those laptops are equipped with faulty wiring between the notebook and the display and this causes problems. Therefore, heat is produced and this can deform the notebooks case.
