Archos 10 netbook available through Blockbuster

Blockbuster Inc. is a chain of DVD, Blu-ray, and video game rental stores. Blockbuster started its operations in 1985 and is headquartered at Texas. Blockbuster has over 5,000 stores in the U.S. alone and more than 3,000 stores in other international locations like Canada, Britain, Denmark, Australia, etc. It also provides an online DVD rental service in the U.S. and UK on the lines of market leader, Netflix.
Recently Blockbuster entered into a deal with Archos whereby Blockbuster will sell Archos 10 netbooks through its chain of retail stores. Around 1,000 retail stores have been earmarked for this purpose. Users must be thinking that what is the motive behind this deal, well Archos will benefit from the fact that it can make its presence felt (increased brand visibility) across the US, UK, and other locations. Users will be benefited as they can buy this netbook at a price that is lower than the market price. Blockbuster will retail the Archos 10 netbook for just $300. Blockbuster is also set to benefit from this deal as customers can access Blockbuster's online rental, retail, and download services anywhere, by clicking on the embedded link to Blockbuster online which is available as a shortcut placed on the desktop.
The Archos is slated to be one of the first mini laptops to provide direct access to media on the move. The specifications of the Archos 10 netbook are as follows:
