A beast of a laptop
Dell’s high end workstation laptop comes with 17-inch LED back-lit 1,920 x 1,200 pixel display (it even features 100% of the RGB color gamut), Core 2 Duo Quad Core Extreme QX9300 2,53GHz processor (or Core 2 Duo and Core 2 Extreme), Nvidia Quadro FX 2700M with 512 MB memory or 3700M with 1GB VRAM, up to 16GB 1066MHz DDR3 memory and up to 1TB of storage spread over two 500GB disks in a RAID setup. Other features include Bluetooth 2.1, WWAN, GPS, 802.11a/g/n WiFi, stereo speakers and dual-array mic, ExpressCard 54 and PCMCIA slots, 8-in-1 card reader, Firewire, 4x USB 2.0, eSATA, and more. Graphic artists and video editors will be delighted.
The weight starts out at about 3.8kg and the price at $2,599, but if all the options are selected, it can hit about $6,700!
