Asus brings new business notebook V1V

Asus expands its product line by a new notebook model. The new one is the business laptop V1V, which provides the new Intel Centrino 2 architecture.

The new V1V-AK008E is made for professional users. Beside other things, it is equipped with a water proof keyboard and an anthracite case.

The installed processor is the Intel Core 2 Duo P8600 CPU with 2.4 GHz and 4 GB DDR 800 MHz RAM are also included. The notebook provides a 15.4-inch display and it shows content with a resolution of 1.680 x 1.050 pixels. It gets supported by an ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3650 with 512 MB video RAM.

The notebooks mass storage device is a 320 GB SATA hard disk and a DL DVD RW drive is also built in. Wireless LAN 802.11n and Bluetooth 2.0 + EDR provide wireless communication.

Safety features like a fingerprint reader are installed as well. Furthermore, the laptop offers a 1.3 mega pixel webcam, USB 2.0 ports, Firewire connectors, and a micro DVI port.

The Asus V1V-AK008E is going to be available at the beginning of August and it  will cost € 1.505.
