Asus G70S high-end gaming notebook

Asus introduced its G70 little time ago, and it will be available until end of this month.

The G70S is part of Asus Republic of Gamers series. It offers metal visual appearance and a blue lighted R.O.G. logo on its lid. The notebook is equipped with an Intel Core 2 Duo T9500 processor with 2.6 GHz and 4 GB RAM are included as well.

Asus equips its G70S with two Nvidia GeForce 8700M GT SLI graphics and the graphic adapter offers a sum of 1 GB video RAM (2x 512 - counts as 512 MB for games). The 17” display shows content with a resolution of 1.920 x 1.200 pixels and it supports full HD. A BluRay drive is also included to provide high definition video content.

The notebook offers two 320 GB SATA hard disks and it is equipped with wireless LAN, which supports 802.11 a/b/g/n. Furthermore, there are a Bluetooth 2.0 adapter, a hybrid TV tuner and a 2 mega pixel webcam installed. Asus equipped the laptop with Windows Vista Ultimate 64 and some accessories like a 1.600 dpi gaming mouse, a steel-series headset and a backpack are included as well.

The Asus G70S is going to be available till the end of May and it costs € 2.519.
