HP introduces the new HDX16 and HDX18 notebooks
Hewlett Packard expands its product range and adds two new laptops. Those are the entertainment notebooks HDX16 and HDX18.
Hewlett Packard HDX16:
The HP HDX16 offers a 16-inch display, which shows content with a resolution of 1.366 x 768 pixels. Additionally, a Nvidia GeForce 9600GT with 512 MB VRAM is also included.
The installed processor is an Intel Core 2 Duo P8400 with 2.26 GHz and 4 GB DDR2 RAM are built in as well. The mass storage device is a 320 GB hard drive with 5.400 RPM.
A DL DVD drive, Wireless LAN and Bluetooth are included too. Furthermore, a LAN port, a multi card reader, Altec Lansing speakers, a expess card slot, USB ports, a HDMI connector and a firewire connector are built in too.
Supposedly, the Hewlett Packard HDX16 will be available in this month and it will cost $ 1.249 (approx € 876).
Hewlett Packard HDX18:
The HP HDX18 offers a 18-inch display, which shows content with a resolution of 1.920 x 1.080 pixels. Furthermore, a BluRay ROM is included too.
The mass storage device consists of two hard drives with 250 GB each and therefore it provides an overall capacity of 500 GB. The rest of the hardware is identical to the HDX16’s hardware.
The Hewlett Packard HDX18 will probably be available in this month and it will cost 1.549 (approx € 1.088).
