Windows 8 slides leak, coming in 2012

It promises to add more values

Windows 7 just hit the market, 22nd October to be precise, and is already making waves. In about 3 weeks, it is said to have hit 4% of all computers. At the moment when the Redmont Company has just started to see a gameplan developing after the Vista debacle, a few leaked slides let the world know what there are after. Slashgear reports of a few leaked slides that set the Windows 8 (codename) release date as somewhere in 2012. Also Windows Server 2008 R2 will arrive shortly, according to the slides.

Also an interesting thing is that the slides show Win 7 release as a mere Release update, whereas Win 8 as a Major update. I wonder whether Windows 8 will be a brand-new OS with totally new coding. Time will tell. But you can see Microsoft is trying.
