The manufacturer Unitek developed a new SATA HDD dock. It carries not only SATA hard disks, but also USB devices and memory cards.
SATA HDD Multi-Function Dock
The Unitek SATA HDD Multi-Function dock is made for connecting SATA hard drives to the computer using the USB port. Every 2.5-inch SATA disk and every 3.5-inch SATA disk can be installed.
Additionally, a USB hub is included, which offers two USB ports. Furthermore, there is a card reader built in, which reads SD-cards, CF-cards, MMC-cards, MemorySticks and XD-picture cards.
Another feature of the device is its one touch backup function. It allows making a backup of the computers data by pressing only one button.
The Unitek SATA HDD Multi-Function Dock is compatible to Mac as well as to PC and costs $ 53 (+3$ for worldwide shipping).
