Acer Aspire One shall beat the Eee PC
The manufacturer Acer has high expectations for its Aspire One, because they want the netbook to get ahead of the Asus Eee PC.
The Acer Aspire One is on the market for a little time but the manufacturer has high expectations for its device. The Acer president Scott Lin expects the selling figures of the Aspire One to be clearly higher as the Asus Eee PC’s in the second quarter of 2008.
Acer assumes that they will sell about 5 to 7 million devices until the end of the year and Asus expects to sell “only” 3.5 million netbooks.
There are other competitors as well who also want to sell their devices. MSI is one of them and they provide their Wind netbook. They want to acquire customers and therefore everyone in this market has to fight hard.
