Aware Electronics presents A-Pad
The Taiwanese manufacturer Aware Electronics expands its product range by the new A-Pad. The netbook is equipped with a 7-inch display and costs only $ 300.
Aware Electronics wants to enter the netbook market and present its A-Pad. The device offers a 7-inch touch screen display which shows content with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels.
The installed processor is an Aday5G X86 CPU (no detailled information is currently available on this CPU) with 800 MHz and 512 MB RAM is also included. The netbooks mass storage device consists of a 4 GB NAND flash memory. A LAN port, wireless LAN and Bluetooth provide communication. Optionally, there is 3G and GPS available.
Furthermore, the A-Pad provides a webcam, two USB ports and a SD card reader. The installed operating system is LINOS Linux.
The Aware Electronics A-Pad will be available in two month and costs only $ 300.
