The Xiaomi S10 and S10+ robot vacuum cleaners have been listed on the brand’s global website. The new gadgets have up to 4,000 Pa suction power and can mop and vacuum. There are several differences between the models, including mopping ability, obstacle avoidance technology and battery size.

Xiaomi has revealed the S10 and S10+ robot vacuum cleaners in listings on its global website. Both gadgets have up to 4,000 Pa suction power, with four power options offered. The robots use LDS laser navigation to map your home and plan an efficient route, and you can control various settings in the Xiaomi Mi Home app.

The Xiaomi S10 and S10+ models differ in several ways. Firstly, the S10+ has 3D obstacle avoidance and AI technology, whereas the S10 uses a simpler collision sensor to detect objects in its path. While both devices can mop, the Xiaomi S10+ also has a more sophisticated mopping system, with high-pressure to ensure the floor is always moist. The last main difference is battery size; the S10 has a 3,200 mAh battery, which the company suggests provides 130 minutes of run time in standard mode.

The higher-end S10+ has a 5,200 mAh battery, powering the device for 120 minutes in quiet cleaning mode. You can already buy the Xiaomi S10 and S10+ robot vacuums in Southeast Asian countries like Malaysia, where the gadgets retail for RM1,299 (~US$293) and RM2,099 (~US$474), respectively. It is unclear whether or not the devices could arrive in the EU and at what price. Xiaomi also recently announced the E10 and X10 robot vacuum models for the global market.
