New Huawei Mate 7 spotted at TENAA
Yet another Huawei smartphone has been spotted at TENAA through the Chinese Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT). The device uses the model name CRR-UL00 and raises speculation about a possible Mate 7 Plus, Mate 7 Mini, or Mate 7S in the near future.
Previous Huawei models at TENAA have had the model names RIO-UL00, CRR-CL00, CRR-UL00 and CRR-TL00. The Chinese manufacturer has confirmed via multiple teasers and through social media that the Mate 7S will indeed be shown at IFA 2015.
Based on model number patterns from Huawei, this most recent entry is likely to be the upcoming Mate 7S. Rumored specifications include a 5.7-inch FHD display, octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 935 SoC, 3 GB RAM, and a 13 MP rear camera.
In the last month, the new Honor and G8 models were also leaked through TENAA certifications. All models appear to be sporting similar gold color designs and very narrow bezels.
