The VersaPro VK15V/TM-C has the look and features of a typical netbook, sans the physical keyboard

Japanese tablet maker NEC corporation came up with a brand-new tablet called the NEC's VersaPro VK15V/TM-C that plans to give the netbook lovers something to cheer about. The tablet sports a 10.1” widescreen display panel that should be quite crisp with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels. It is powered by an Intel Oak Trail based Atom Z670 processor clocking at 1.5GHz. The tablet comes to you pre-loaded with Windows 7 Professional 32-Bit operating system.

Apart from these, the VK15V/TM-C comes with 2GB RAM, 64GB of solid state drive space, HDMI out, an SDEC card slot, and wireless connectivity.

The gadget is set to hit Japan later this summer but there are no words on when it will be available in the US, if at all. The price is also not known yet.
