Motorola Moto G 2015 to cost $179.99 USD
Motorola has been in the spotlight during the last few years thanks to handsets from all areas of the market, from the Moto X flagship all the way to the low-end Moto E. This year's star from them will probably be the new version of the Moto G mid-ranger that is expected to show up during a press event on July 28th.
A screenshot that allegedly shows a US Cellular inventory management database reveals that Moto G 2015 will sell for $179.99 USD, the same price as last year's model. If this turns out to be true and the technical specs leaked so far also prove to be the real thing, Motorola will have an excellent mid-range smartphone ready for the holiday shopping season.
The most optimistic Moto G specs that leaked online so far mention a Qualcomm Snapdragon 610 SoC, 2 GB RAM, 8 GB or 16 GB internal storage, as well as a 5-inch Full HD AMOLED display. The handset may even offer water resistance and 4G LTE connectivity. Obviously, it will ship loaded with Android 5.1.1 Lollipop.
Moto G 2015 will probably be up for purchase via Motorola's website where customers will also be able to customize it with Moto Maker, a first for the G series smartphones.
