Motorola Moto G 2015 leaks online
Motorola introduced the excellent low-cost smartphone Moto G a few years ago with 720p display and quad-core processor, updating it about one year later with improved screen and camera. The second-gen Moto G also had improved speaker placement, and now it looks like a third generation is ready to hit the market. Motorola did not confirm any of the specs below or a launch date yet, so take this with a grain of salt for now.
A video that shows what appears to be a third-gen Moto G prototype reveals the following technical details:
- Processor: 1.4 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 410
- Memory/Storage: 1 GB RAM; 8 GB internal storage and microSD support
- Display: 5-inch multitouch with 1,280X720 pixels
- Cameras: 5 MP front, 13 MP back
- Operating system: Android 5.1.1 Lollipop
- Battery: 2,300 mAh
As you can see in the video below, the prototype also comes with 4G LTE connectivity, ambient light sensor, magnetic sensor, and more. Since the first two generations were unveiled in October and September, it would not be a surprise to see the 2015 Moto G showing up this fall. We will get back to it as soon as we have more info, so stay tuned.
