More than 120 million devices now running Windows 10

Microsoft Windows 10 ecosystem aims to reach 1 billion devices

Three months since launch, and Windows 10 has been installed on more than 120 million devices already.

Microsoft launched Windows 10 three months ago and, by the end of the first month, over 70 million devices were running the new operating system. However, its adoption rate decreased in the meantime, so now there is still some time left until reaching the 150 million barrier - probably at least two weeks.

The Redmond giant announced earlier this month that more than 110 million Windows 10 installs have been completed worldwide, and now WinBeta's inside sources reveal that Windows 10 has been installed on more than 120 million PCs. There is no way for Microsoft to keep the momentum because Xbox One and the Lumia devices did not get it yet and the holiday season is drawing near. Right now, the only way for Microsoft Windows 10 is up.

Xbox One users should get Windows 10 by mid-November while the edition for Lumia handsets is expected to launch in December. The next few months should be very interesting and we will do our best to keep you informed, so stay tuned.
