Productivity with your smartphone is the new trend these days, whether by connecting to a desktop-like setup or laptop: There's been the HP Elite x3 Lap Dock, Superbook (delayed until June 2017), and many more kickstarter projects. French startup Miraxess is hoping to differentiate their Mirabook laptop dock by providing HDMI, USB Type-C, and a bit more refinement to the design and concept.

The Mirabook will have a 13.3-inch 1080p matte display, HDMI, USB Type-C, an SD card slot, and a battery for up to 24 hours, according to Miraxess. As stated, it is a bit more refined than previous laptop docks. It boasts an aluminum body, a retractable USB Type-C cable—meaning you never have to remember to bring one again, and will support Windows phones with Continuum or Android phones using Andromium.

Pre-orders will begin in March for the very fair price of 299 Euros. The Mirabook is slated for a worldwide release this October.
