Memory-laden HTC U11 available in the UK later this month

HTC's U11 variant with more memory has already made stops in Asia and the US, and soon it will make a third stop in the UK. HTC has begun to accept pre-orders for the handset, which features 50 percent more RAM and twice as much internal storage as the standard U11.

The UK version of this 6 GB RAM/128 GB ROM flagship is different from its American counterpart in two key ways. The first is its dual-SIM slot; the second, the color options. Unlike the US version, which is sold exclusively in silver, the UK model will be sold in black, blue, and red as well.

In case you were wondering, you won't be able to pick up the improved HTC U11 in retail stores. The phone is an HTC.com exclusive, and costs £699.99 (US$907). As Android Central notes, HTC Club members get a 10 percent discount that eases the sting of the U11's exorbitant price tag, if only by a little.

Pre-orders for the device will begin to ship soon, according to HTC, so there's still time to get one if you're interested.
