Latest MSI GT780DX stuns everyone with its record breaking Clock speed of 4.16GHz and also has proved to be the lightest of all the high end laptops

MSI has displayed their GT780DX packed with Intel’s top-of-the-line Core i7 Extreme Edition processor with a clocking speed of more than 4GHz. The MSI GT780DX laptop is currently the only model to support Core i7 Extreme Edition and is being displayed for a limited time. It may be currently called as the fastest in the industry with a smashing 4.16GHz clock speed.

Last year during Europe’s Dreamhack, MSI held its video gaming competition and computer exhibition. A number of GT780DX models were being displayed all packed with Intel’s limited edition Core i7-2920XM the Extreme Edition processor. A dynamic demonstration of this processor in notebook computers showed a clock speed of 4GHz.

Along with that, the notebooks with Core i7-2630QM, has also showed an increase in CPU performance by at least 43 percent when tested. The performance speeds of various applications are also improved. The overall system performance, along with the superior stability and cooling performance of MSI notebook designs.

This model has a 17inch display which is mostly preferred by the gamers. It comes with two hard drives and four memory units along with a 9-cell battery.

Usually the high end laptops sizes increases along with that their power consumption also increases and also requires a large cooling system and high capacity power supply design. But it seems the MSI GT780DX has overcome these problems as it is one of the most efficient and most powerful notebooks available in the market. Along with all these a lot of features were also designed with a serious gamer in mind.

This device also sports a NVIDIA GeForce GTX570M discrete graphics card and 3GB GDDR5 display memory. Along with all these high end features the weight is also less than other counterparts as it is only about 8.5pounds.
