In a press release today, MSI took the wraps off two new additions to their G-series of gaming notebooks, the GX70 and GX60. Coming in at 17.3" and 15.6", the notebooks are the first to offer AMD's Richland lineup of CPUs, which were unveiled just a couple months ago.

Both the GX70 and GX60 feature an A10-5750 CPU with a clock speed of 2.5-3.5 GHz, along with 8GB of RAM and 750GB of hard disk space. An anti-reflective screen with a Full-HD resolution of 1920x1080 pixels graces both notebooks, but the 17.3" GX70 is powered by an AMD Radeon HD 8970M while the GX60's 15.6" display makes do with a Radeon HD 7970M

The devices also share a couple more features including a Blu-Ray drive, a 720p webcam, HDMI and a 9 cell battery. No release date has been formally announced yet, but the notebooks should be shipping very soon, with the GX70 expected to retail for $1,399 and the GX60 for $1,299.
