Reviews for the MSI CX700-021UK

A large, comfortable and light laptop, but unfortunately lacking in performance. The MSI CX700-021UK is a large, comfortable machine which – unsurprisingly at such a low price – offers little wow-factor, but may be worth a look for those after an entry-level desktop replacement system. The MSI CX700-021UK is a decent laptop, but the lack of power may be an issue for you, and it may only appeal to those with basic user requirements.

Intel Pentium Dual Core: The return of the name Pentium, though it is a Yonah core. In fact, it is a double Core processor with a very good relation of performance to current consumption.

17.3": Meanwhile the 17 inch display size is a more frequently offered standard format for desktop-replacements. The DTR-laptops can't be carried easily, need much energy but on the other side texts can be read easily and high resolutions are no problem. DTR mainly are intended for stationary usage on desks, where the weight and the energy need are unimportant.

3 kg: This weight is average for notebooks. Therefore the numerous mass of laptops with 15 inch display fits in this class of weight.
MSI: Micro-Star International (MSI), is a Taiwan based computer hardware manufacturer since 1986 best known for desktop computer motherboards. MSI also designs and manufactures graphics cards, barebone PCs, notebook computers, networking products, servers, multimedia, consumer electronics, and storage devices. MSI, as most Taiwanese computer manufacturers, sells products on OEM/ODM basis. It also sells products worldwide based on its own brand name "MSI". The market share of laptops with the MSI brand is rather low.
70%: This rating is bad. Most notebooks are better rated. This is not a recommendation for purchase.
