Lenovo rumored to release a new 11.6-inch Ivy Bridge laptop at Computex
Lenovo is expected to be among the companies, which will be announcing new products at the rapidly approaching 2013 Computex trade show in Taipei. According to Hungarian website techkalauz.hu, one of these devices is called IdeaPad S210 and is an 11.6-inch laptop equipped with a widescreen HD panel of 1366-by-768 pixels native resolution.
In addition to the 720p display, users will be reportedly provided with up to 1TB of storage (+16GB SSD), up to 8GB of power-efficient DDR3L memory and the integrated Intel HD 4000 graphics controller. The S210 is claimed to offer a variety of low-voltage central processing units and can be configured with up to a third generation Intel Core i3-3227U chip (Turbo Boost 2.0 & Hyper-Threading), which houses two cores operating at 1.9GHz.
The leaked specs sheet further indicates that the 0.82-inch thick mini-notebook comes with one USB 3.0 port, 2-in-1 card reader slot, an HDMI output, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n antenna and (an optional) Bluetooth 4.0 adapter. Other features of the 1.3kg IdeaPad S210 presumably include a Windows 8 Pro operating system, built-in web camera for video calls and up to 5 hours of battery life.
