Lenovo has announced a new update to their A-Series of tablets, adding quad-core processing and Android's latest to the trio of devices. All three of the A7-50, A8 and A10 tablets are included in the refresh, and will be available in May of this year.
The three tablets now feature a 1.3GHz quad-core MTK8121 CPU, along with 1GB of RAM and 16GB of storage. The trio also feature the same IPS display with a 1280x800 pixel resolution, though they differ in size ranging from 7" on the A7-50, 8" on the A8 and 10.1" on the A10.
Other specs include 2MP/5MP front and rear facing cameras, 8 hours of battery life, Bluetooth 4.0 and Dolby Audio. The tablets will also come with Android 4.2 upon launch, but Lenovo is promising a subsequent KitKat update. Pricing is also reasonable, as the A7-50 retails at $129, the A8 for $179 and the A10 at just $249.
