Lenovo: New Moto phones are coming to Barcelona next month
The Sunday before Mobile World Congress is a busy day for smartphone manufacturers. After Huawei announced a press conference on February 26th, Lenovo also scheduled an event for Sunday to reveal new phones.
Of course Chinese smartphone and PC manufacturer Lenovo would not miss Mobile World Congress this year. We are expecting them to announce at least one smartphone on Sunday before MWC officially starts, which will be February 26th at 4.30 pm local time. A teaser, showing a Moto phone throwing a shadow of Barcelona's top sight, the Sagrada Familia, was released to the press recently and does suggest, that Lenovo will launch the new G5 series of phones consisting of the G5 and the G5 Plus.
The latter leaked recently in Romania and was revealed to be a 5.5 inch phone with Snapdragon 625 processor and Full-HD resolution, running Androi 7.0. Lenovo might also reveal a new version of the Moto X, which has not received an update last year due to the introduction of the modular Moto Z-series of phones. The Moto X also leaked recently and will also most likely be a midrange phone. It will not be compatible with MotoMods.
