Lenovo Miix 710: Refresh of the Surface-lookalike
Shortly after Lenovo unveiled the cheaper, more powerful Miix 510 the next entry to the Miix line of convertibles leaks: The Miix 710 is the successor to the Miix 700 convertible.

The announcement of Kaby Lake based PC is continuing on. In this case its not an official announcement, yet. However, its not hard to imagine that it shouldn´t take long until its official: The new Miix 710. The Miix brand just had an addition to the family, in the form of the more affordable yet more powerful Miix 510

About the Miix 710: The differences to the predecessor Miix 700 appear to be quite minimal. The design of the new models seems to be completely the same, which means that its still a tablet-convertible like the Surface, including a kickstand and a magnetically attached keyboard. This means the Miix 710 is a small update. The most significant change is the use of Kaby Lake CPUs: Lenovo will offer the Core m3-7Y30, Core i5-7Y54 and the Core i7-7Y75, which are all CPUs in the 4.5 W TDP Y-class. Apart from that it seems that Lenovo will use PCIe SSDs now instead of cheaper SATA III ones. Everything else seems unchanged, which also means for example that the Miix 710 won´t come with a USB type C port (unlike its "cheaper" cousin Miix 510).

When the Miix 710 will hit the market is still unclear. According to the source of the leak, German tech-site winfuture.de, it will start at around 700 Euro in Germany.
