Lenovo IdeaPad S210 Touch coming to Japan next month
Lenovo today added anther touchscreen notebook to the family, taking the wraps off their new IdeaPad S210 Touch. The notebook will be available in Japan soon and features an 11.6" display with a 10-point touch interface.
Powered by either an Intel Core i3-3227U or a Celeron 1017U processor, the laptop features a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels and is definitely closer to a netbook than an Ultrabook. In addition, the S210 comes with 4GB of RAM, Intel HD graphics and a hybrid 320GB HDD with a 16GB SSD.
The touchscreen also appears to be a heavy burden on the 3-cell battery, giving the device an expected lifespan of just 3 hours per charge, though the battery is thankfully user-replaceable. In any case, the S210 will be coming to Japan sometime towards the end of next month, but pricing and release info have yet to be made available for the US.
