In addition to launching the IdeaPad 1107 model in the United States earlier this month, the China-based electronics manufacturer Lenovo is now adding a new tablet, dubbed A2109, to its US line-up. Apparently, the mobile device is currently available for purchase from BestBuy’s online store and will set you back $299.99.

According to the product page, the slate computer sports a 4-point capacitive touchscreen display that measures 9 inches in diagonal and has a maximum supported resolution of 1280-by-800 pixels. Furthermore, Lenovo’s latest tablet is driven by a Quad-Core (4-PLUS-1) NVIDIA Tegra 3 system on a chip, which operates at a frequency of 1.2GHz and features an integrated GeForce ULP graphics processing unit.

Reportedly, users are also provided with 1GB of internal low-voltage LPDDR RAM, 16GB of on-board flash storage and a 2-cell battery (no word on battery life, though). Other specs include Wireless LAN and Bluetooth modules complemented by an HDMI interface and two built-in cameras – a 3.0MP rear-facing shooter and a 1.3MP front-facing webcam for video calls.

The IdeaPad A2109 is 0.5-inch (about 12.7mm) thick, weighs 14.1 oz. (400g) and runs on an Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system.
