Lenovo Golden Warrior S8 details go live thanks to an online retailer
The Lenovo Golden Warrior S8 smartphone will retail for $200 and feature a 5.3" display, a Mediatek processor and a brilliantly bright golden color.

Lenovo's Golden Warrior S8 is quite a handful to pronounce, yet the name appears to offer a very apt description. The company's upcoming smartphone made an appearance today thanks to online retailer Vopmart, and most of the details for the glamorous phone have now become public knowledge.

True to its name, the Golden Warrior S8's aluminum frame is decked out in a bright golden color and features a "metal fabric shell" that is supposedly skid and fingerprint resistant. As for the insides, the smartphone features a 5.3" LTPS display with a luminance of 550 cd/mm² and a 1280x720 pixel resolution, all hiding behind scratch-resistant Corning Glass. The Golden Warrior is also powered by a True Octa-Core Mediatek MTK6592M chip, which features ultra-HD support thanks to an ARM Mali-450 GPU.

Other features of the Lenovo smartphone include 2GB of RAM, dual-SIM support, 16GB of onboard storage and a 13MP rear camera, but it is unfortunately saddled with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and not KitKat. The smartphone will retail for $200 when it eventually hits the market, but unfortunately that tidbit was left out of the online listing.
