2015 is coming to a close and the rumor mill is in full force regarding major releases from top manufacturers.

According to a presentation from T-Mobile Poland, a number of new smartphones from LG and Samsung are expected to be announced for a launch in the first half of 2016. Microsoft will reveal two new Lumia handsets and even Sony is expected to show off two new Xperia devices. HTC is still hanging on despite the lukewarm response to the A9 Aero and will reveal a new model as well.

In detail, the leak shows that Samsung will announce two new Galaxy-class smartphones during the first quarter, which may very well be the Galaxy S7 and S7 Plus. The South Korean manufacturer has already booked its Unpacked media event for February 21, 2016 in Barcelona, Spain at the MWC. The other two Galaxy smartphones will follow towards the end of the first quarter and may be part of the refreshed Galaxy A series.

Four new LG smartphones will also be revealed by the end of the first quarter, though the exact models are a bit more difficult to predict. The LG G5 with Snapdragon 820 SoC is a possibility followed by mainstream and lower-end models based on the same design a la the LG G3 and G3 Vigor. Microsoft, HTC, and Sony are also listed on the leaked presentation slide.

The source should be taken with a grain of salt and the schedules can always change even if it were proven true. It's likely that we'll be hearing more rumors as we move closer to MWC 2016.
