IFA 2013 | LG presents 4.7-inch smartphone L9II

LG adds a new smartphone without LTE to its lineup. The LG Optimus L9II comes with HSPA+, a 4.7-inch display and a dual-core processor. It will be available in October for an estimated €350.

With the new LG Optimus L9II LG Electronics presents a new addition to its L product line. The L9II complements the already available 3G/UMTS mobile phones Optimus L3 II, L5 II and L7 II. It will be available in October, the recommended retail price will be set at €350.

The Optimus L line of products is focused on users who do not depend on LTE support. The new LG Optimus L9II offers dual-carrier support and comes with a dual-core processor, clocked at 1.4 GHz. The HD IPS touchscreen measures 4.7 inches and displays a resolution of 1,280 x 720 pixels.

According to LG, the Optimus L9II also offers 1 GB of memory, 8 GB of local storage, a microSD slot, 802.11a/b/g/n WLAN, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and NFC. Additionally, it comes with two internal cameras (backside: 8 MP; frontside: 1.3 MP) and Android Jelly Bean as the operating system. The official battery capacity of the LG L9II is still somewhat unclear. In contradictory statements LG Electronics referred to it as 2,150 mAh and 2,460 mAh. We have sent a request for clarification, but as of this writing LG hasn't answered yet.
