Selected participants will receive the flagship phone weeks before launch, and will be able to complete assignments and obtain prizes. Participants can test out the phone for up to 30 days.

The upcoming LG G4 is expected to be announced on April 28, however LG has already announced it will be letting 4,000 lucky users try out the new G4 ahead of its launch. The test drive program starts today in Korea, and will expand to 14 other countries before the official launch of the phone. Selected consumers will be able to use the smartphone for up to 30 days, which should be enough to to get a good taste of the device in everyday usage.

LG will also give out prizes to participants for completing various assignments relating to usage of toe phone. This program will no doubt generate hype and result in a corpus of end user reviews and benchmarks of the upcoming flagship, which has already been leaked online and could potentially come with a Snapdragon 808 chipset and 3GB of RAM. The G4 will also feature UX 4.0, advertised to be more personalized and "human-centric". LG will select participants for the test drive program based on various criteria, including if they share their entry on social media platforms -- again creating hype for the launch.

Details on how to participate in this "consumer experience campaign" will be posted on the local LG websites of participating markets, currently being only Korea. The program will soon launch in Turkey, Indonesia, Singapore, United States, China, India, Brazil, Canada, United Kingdom, France, Germany, Mexico, Japan and Hong Kong.
