LG has introduced its latest gaming monitor, the UltraGear 27GN800-B. Equipped with a 27-inch IPS panel, the UltraGear 27GN800-B supports AMD FreeSync, NVIDIA G-Sync and 144 Hz gaming. The UltraGear 27GN800-B runs natively at 2,560 x 1,440 pixels too, making it a WQHD monitor.

LG has announced its latest gaming monitor - the UltraGear 27GN800-B. While the monitor may have an uninspiring name, it packs plenty of features. To start with, the 27GN800-B is a 27-inch monitor that runs natively at 1440p, or WQHD. The IPS panel supports 1 ms grey-to-grey response times, up to a 144 Hz refresh rate and 99% of the sRGB colour space with HDR10.

Additionally, the UltraGear 27GN800-B supports AMD FreeSync Premium and NVIDIA G-Sync, which broaden its appeal with gamers. According to LG, the panel has a contrast ratio of 1,000:1 and a peak brightness of 350 nits, along with an anti-glare finish. The monitor should have 178° viewing angles too, which is to be expected from an IPS panel.

The UltraGear 27GN800-B has a trio of video outputs too and several display modes that LG has designed for gamers. The monitor comes with a stand that can be tilted, but it can also be attached VESA or wall mounts. LG is yet to announce the price of the UltraGear 27GN800-B, but KitGuru asserts that the monitor will be available by December at the latest.
