Intel to bring up ruggedized netbooks with fanless designs.

Intel is trying hard to be in the netbook market with some pleasing design and changes that will follow in the upcoming netbook models. It is also planning to bring up ruggedized netbook that is sealed against; water, sand and dust, as well as it won’t need cooling events.

Intel is making an attempt to upgrade its Cedar Trail netbooks in order to catch the eye with thin, sleek most importantly with fanless designs. These changes are mainly planned for netbooks up to 10 inches. Even Intel will go the extra mile to provide technical support to vendors who takes up the responsibility to these fanless netbooks.

Some of the top performing machines that come with 8W dual core kit are of size 11.6 to 12.1 inches. It is not much clearer, the intentions of using an 8W TDP kit as the processor of choice is N2800 with 1.86GHz clock and 6.5 TDP. It might include a chipset in it. After all this is not the one with fanless design but the 10 inch machine with N2600 processor and 3.5W TDP processor will be the one without a fan.

Though tablets have taken over the market for netbooks these days but still Intel could look for some specific sections of the market like school kids with its ruggedized notebooks.
