The Tablet ad impressions showed a further growth to 771 percent globally which is about 11.2 billion and is still growing.
Among the various platforms Android continues to be the most popular with 21 percent and next is iOS at 17 percent globally. However in North America, the release of the iPad 2 and iPhone 4S has pushed iOS ahead of Android at 33.1 percent, while Android has 32.5 percent.
According to James Lamberti, VP global research & marketing at InMobi, the mobile technologies have empowered the development of media and advertising market and pushed consumer’s acceptance of media consumption through emerging channels.
Now we may see a strong on board with this trend and we may expect to see strong innovations in this space as the consumers really spend more time on these mobile devices than those in PC’s.
