Images of Moto E smartphone pop up online
Motorola's event is scheduled for this Tuesday, the 13th of May, yet we might have already caught a glimpse of their next reveal. A helpful user posted an image of a pair of smartphones on Motorola's Mexico Facebook page, and one of the two could be the upcoming Moto E.
Though the image has since been removed, the folks at Android Police managed to quickly save it and it shows Motorola's current low-budget offering, the Moto G, alongside an unnamed, white smartphone. That smartphone, which could very well be the Moto E, looks to have a smaller screen and is conspicuously lacking a front-facing camera, though it features a similar build to the Moto G.
The Moto E is expected to be Motorola's new low-budget smartphone for developing markets, and is rumored to feature a dual-core processor, Android 4.4 and a 5MP rear camera. In addition, Indian retailer Flipkart recently began teasing an unnamed device with a countdown till May 13th, and the renderings on their site (shown below) closely match today's leak.
