Ice Cream Sandwich code releasing on 17th

Teaser
With the release of the Galaxy Nexus, the source code for the Android 4.0 might be its way too

It is really long since we have been hearing about the Android 4.0 or popularly known as the Ice Cream Sandwich. But it seems the wait is over now as it is scheduled to be arriving on the streets by this Thursday or November 17th

This version will be the first release after Gingerbread to be open sourced, as Honeycomb was skipped from the same. Rohan Shravan, from Notion Ink’s posted on the Company’s official blog as they are expecting Google to release the source, as it is very important for the manufacturers as well as the developers working on custom ROMs to build firmware based on the platform.

Also according to Google’s remark in Hong Kong during the Launch of Ice Cream Sandwich they are to release the source code soon after the release of Galaxy Nexus. So, all these make it quite clear that as Galaxy Nexus will be hitting the streets, and the Android 4.0 source code might be on its way on Thursday too.
