IFA 2016 | Three new 5.5 inch smartphones by Archos

Archos knows how to build cheap LTE smartphones. The Helium LTE range assembles the 5.5 inch models. Three new devices are coming to IFA: Archos 55 Helium Ultra, 55 Helium and 55 Helium 4 Seasons.

The differences are mostly in the storage: The Helium 55 Ultra comes with 3 GByte of RAM and 32 GByte of storage space, while all other models have only 1 GByte of RAM and 16 of GByte of space to store data.

The Helium 55 4 Seasons brings four exchangable covers in Blooming Gold, Blazing Yellow, Autumn Woodland and Frosted Grey. They will help you to design the back of your smartphone the way you want it.

All three models support LTE and can combine LTE and WiFi to reach higher internet speed. On the back, you will find a 8 megapixel camera with LED flash. The battery holds 2,700 mAh. All three devices support two SIM cards. gesture control and direct data exchange via WiFi Direct are further features.

The first device to hit the market will be the Archos 55 Helium in the beginning of October. It will cost about 130 Euro. 55 Helium Ultra and 55Helium 4 Seasons will follow late October and early November. Each of the two will cost about 150 Euro.
