MagyarIFA 2016 | Archos: Cheap LTE smartphone with finger print sensor
IFAsets the stage for Archos to present a new smartphone with lower middle-class specs. The cheap price could make other manufacturers sweat. The 50f Helium comes equipped with a 5 inch display, generous 32 GByte of storage, 2 GByte of RAM and a microSD port. It supports LTE and will run Android 6.0. The price will be a mere 149 Euro.
Archos did save money when they chose to implement a screen with a resolution of 1,280 x 720 pixels and when they chose the cameras with a resolution of 8 and 2 megapixels. Also, the battery is not very persistent with just 2,100 mAh.
The device is supposed to hit markets in October and will cost 149 Euro. Starting in November, there will also be a Lite version with 1 GByte of RAM and 16 GByte of storage for 119 Euro.
