Honor and Genshin Impact have come to Gamescom 2022 to announce that the Magic4 Pro is the worldwide smash hit game's exclusive smartphone sponsor. The two brands assert that the flagship device's Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 power and GPU Turbo X technology is perfect to explore the game's latest region, as found in its freshly-unveiled Version 3.0 update.

HoYoverse has celebrated the new "Version 3.0" update to its marquee title Genshin Impact by collaborating with Honor to make that OEM's global Magic4 Pro flagship Android smartphone the game's official sponsor. This new partnership has been unveiled at Gamescom 2022 with a booth at the Cologne-based tech event at which its attendees can try the new expansion out on the current flagship's curved LTPO OLED display.

Genshin Impact Version 3.0 is the one that unlocks access to the major new and "massive" Sumeru region, as well as a host of playable Dendro characters.

The Magic4 Pro is now touted as an ideal machine for these new possibilities, thanks to its Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC, as well as AI Super Rendering technology derived from the smartphone's GPU Turbo X acceleration techniques.

That technology was in fact originally developed by Huawei, although Honor premiered it following its split from that formerly prominent mobile device OEM.

Either way, the feature has helped it secure this new sponsorship of Genshin Impact due to its rated ability to stabilize frame-rates on the Magic4 Pro's 120Hz screen.
