Hisense E8H cheaper 4K TV arrives with 144 Hz refresh rate and 1,600 nits brightness

The Hisense E8H TV will shortly launch in China. The 4K TV has several features for gaming, such as a 144 Hz refresh rate and AMD FreeSync Premium. The mini LED-backlit display has up to 1,600 nits brightness and is available in 65-in and 75-in models, starting from 6,999 yuan (~US$998.70).

The Hisense E8H TV has been revealed and will shortly be available to pre-order in China. The 4K TV has a mini LED backlight with over 500 partitions and up to 1,600 nits brightness, allowing for improved detail in darker images. According to the company, the screen has a 178° viewing angle for a low reflection and a 96% DCI-P3 color gamut. 

The E8H has an integrated ambient light sensor, allowing it to alter the brightness to suit your environment intelligently. The Hisense TV could be used for gaming, with a variable refresh rate up to 144 Hz, 2.7 ms latency, AMD FreeSync Premium, ALLM and the ability to connect via an HDMI 2.1 port. The gadget has a built-in 25 W 2.1 channel sound system with an independent sub-woofer to produce a surround sound experience. Plus, the TV supports Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos, DTS HD and DTS Virtual:X technologies.

You can connect and cast to the TV using NFC or Bluetooth 5.0 and control the device with voice commands or a smartphone app. The Hisense E8H TV will go on sale in China on September 30th, with two models available: a 65-in variant and a 75-in version. The TVs will retail for 6,999 yuan (~US$998.70) and 8,999 yuan (~US$1,284.09), respectively. It is currently unclear whether the TVs will launch in other markets later.
