HTC's next flagship specs leak

Teaser
HTC O2 will most likely be using the upcoming Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 SoC with Adreno 530 GPU.

According to a new report, the next HTC flagship phone will not continue the Mx naming policy and will be named the HTC O2. We also learned the alleged specications of the device.

The upcoming HTC O2 will feature a 6-inch, 2560 x 1440 resolution screen (which works out to a 490 ppi pixel density). The piece of information that has been most speculated about recently, after the Snapdragon 810 overheating fiasco in HTC M9, was whether the company would continue using Qualcomm chips or move on to MediaTek’s Helio chipset. If the report turns out to be accurate, HTC O2 will be using the upcoming Snapdragon 820 SoC, which will include a quad-core CPU (with four custom Hydra cores) and teh Adreno 530 GPU.

Apart from that, the HTC O2 will allegedly sport 4 GB of RAM along with 64 GB or 128 GB of storage space. The main camera will feature a 20.7 MP sensor while the front one will allow taking 5 MP selfies. Inside the thin-bezelled, water- and dust-resistant body there will also be a quite large, 3500 mAh battery.

The report mentions MWC 2016 as a possible launch time for the HTC O2.
