HTC M8 specs spotted in the AnTuTu database

Teaser
HTC One's follower is supposed to feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor with Andreno 330 graphics, 5-inch Full HD display and 2 GB of memory.

HTC One is, according to most professional and end-user reviews, one of the best flagship handsets of the year. The smartphone received multiple industry awards, including "Best New Mobile Device" award from the GSM Association, "Editor’s Choice Gold" from AnandTech, or "Best European Advanced Smartphone 2013-2014" from the European Imaging and Sound Association.

Its successor does not have an official name yet but its specs have been spotted already by the Japanese media in the AnTuTu Benchmark online database. It has been confirmed that the device called HTC 0P6B120 has the  htc_m8-userdebug|4.4|KRT16O Rom and HTC M8 is the code name of HTC One's follower. These are its specs from the AnTuTu database:

  • Processor: Qualcomm Snapdragon 800(MSM8974AB) with Adreno 330 graphics
  • Memory/Storage: 2 GB RAM; 16 GB internal storage
  • Display: 5-inch Full HD multitouch
  • Cameras: 2.1 MP front, 4 MP back
  • Operating system: Android 4.4 KitKat

The overall AnTuTu score of the HTC M8 is 36,532, a solid increase from the 26,548 achieved by the HTC One M7. Unfortunately, this level of performance will not make it into the consumers' hands too soon, as rumors place the release date during February 2014 and the mass availability of the device for March or April. Obviously, nothing has been confirmed by HTC yet.
