While HP and Palm’s webOS tablet was all but confirmed with the recent slew of leaked pictures and plans, the specs had been quite a mystery till now. Fortunately, Precentral has managed to dig up some documents that should clear things up.
According to the memo, the “Topaz” will include a 1.2 GHz Qualcomm Processor, an Adreno 220 GPU, 512MB of DDR2 memory, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, a front-facing 1.3 megapixel camera and dual-band 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi. These specs should go along with 3 different storage options (16GB / 32GB / 64GB), and a 9” (1024x768) screen protected by Gorilla Glass.
Unfortunately there is no official confirmation from HP themselves, but it might be as early as February 9th. The company has scheduled an “Exciting WebOS announcement” then; and all the necessary info should be revealed.
