Not without flaws. HP's 14-inch device pleases with long battery life, good input devices, a fast NVMe SSD, and low system noise. Once again, the display deserves criticism: HP has chosen a low-contrast model with narrow viewing angles.

And finally, the limited storage upgradability will most likely be a deal-breaker for some. You can only go with an M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD or 2.5-inch HDD/SSD but not both at the same time. It’s funny how a considerably more portable 14-inch laptop like the ASUS ZenBook UX410 packs both slots and also has superior image quality. Although in an entirely different category, we honestly can’t think of a reason why you would go for the ProBook 640 G3 instead of the ZenBook UX410. The Acer Swift 5 is another great 14-inch option in the same ballpark when it comes to pricing. Still, if you are looking for a more classical business approach, the Lenovo ThinkPad E470 would be a much better option with superior IPS display, slightly more portable and similar overall user experience.

HP: Founded in 1939, the US company is a major server and printer manufacturer and one of the leading IT companies in the world. Until 2015, the company was called Hewlett-Packard Company. After a split, the computer division was renamed HP Inc.

Non demanding games should be playable with these graphics cards.
Intel HD Graphics 4600:
Integrated processor graphics card found on a number of Haswell CPU models. Offers varying clock speeds depending on the CPU.
Modern games should be playable with these graphics cards at low settings and resolutions. Casual gamers may be happy with these cards.
Intel HD Graphics 620: Integrated GPU (GT2) found on some Kaby-Lake CPU models (15 W ULV series).
Intel HD Graphics 520: Integrated GPU (GT2) with 24 EUs found on some Skylake CPU models (15 W ULV series).

Intel Core i7: The Intel Core i7 for laptops is based on the LG1156 Core i5/i7 CPU for desktops. The base clock speed of the CPUs is relatively low, but because of a huge Turbo mode, the cores can dynamically overclock to up to 3.2 GHz (920XM). Therefore, the CPU can be as fast as high clocked dual-core CPUs (using single threaded applications) but still offer the advantage of 4 cores. Because of the large TDP of 45 W / 55 W, the CPU is only intended for large laptops.
4702MQ: Haswell-based quad-core processor clocked at 2.2 GHz with Turbo Boost support up to 3.2 GHz. Offers an integrated HD Graphics 4600 GPU and a dual channel DDR3 memory controller.
6600U: Skylake-based ULV dual-core processor for thin notebooks and ultrabooks. Offers an integrated HD Graphics 520 GPU and is manufactured in 14 nm.
Intel Kaby Lake:
i5-7200U: Kaby-Lake based SoC with two CPU cores clocked at 2.5 to 3.1 GHz, HyperThreading and manufactured with an improved 14nm process.
i7-7600U: Kaby-Lake based SoC with two CPU cores clocked at 2.8 to 3.9 GHz, HyperThreading and manufactured with an improved 14nm process. Integrates a HD Graphics 620 clocked at 300 - 1150 MHz and is manufactured in an improved 14nm process.

14.00:
14 inch display size represents a middle ground between the small subnotebook formats and the screens of the standard 15 inch laptops.
The reason for the popularity of mid-sized displays is that this size is reasonably easy on the eyes, provides good resolutions with usable detail sizes, yet does not consume too much power and the devices can still be reasonably compact.
In the past, 14-inch devices were very rare, but now they are the standard for laptops after the 15-inchers.

85.75%: This is an above-average rating. Nevertheless, it should not be forgotten that about one fifth of all tested models receive a better rating.
