With over 7 hours of battery life, a large and bright display, great-sounding speakers, and a Blu-ray drive, the HP Pavilion dv7-4165dx is an excellent entertainment laptop. But poor overall application performance says this isn't the go-to laptop when it's time get your work done.

ATI Radeon HD 4250: Onboard graphics card (in the RS880M chipset) for AMD processors with Avivo HD support and technically a higher clocked HD 4200.
Only some 3D games with very low demands are playable with these cards.

17.3": Meanwhile the 17 inch display size is a more frequently offered standard format for desktop-replacements. The DTR-laptops can't be carried easily, need much energy but on the other side texts can be read easily and high resolutions are no problem. DTR mainly are intended for stationary usage on desks, where the weight and the energy need are unimportant.
