60% HP Envy 4 Ultrabook review
Source: Techradar English
The HP Envy 4 is certainly one of the most affordable Ultrabooks we've seen. It's got a sleek design and the power is more than enough for basic office tasks and enjoying media on the move.

HP Envy 4t-1000 Review – A Great Portable Student Laptop
Source: Student Buying Guide English
For the price, you get a lot with the Envy 4t. While it may not be as thin as true Ultrabooks such as the ENVY Spectre XT or Dell XPS 13, it costs a lot less and is still very well built. You’re not going to find many other options in the $700 price range that offer thin and light design, a durable aluminum metal case, backlit keyboard, and Core i5 performance. There are also plenty of ports available, unlike other Ultrabooks where you have to sacrifice on port connectivity. Overall the Envy 4t is a solid buy and is especially well suited as a student laptop for those heading back to campus this fall.

HP ENVY SleekBook 4t First Thoughts Review (pics, video)

One last bonus picture I have is the ENVY 4t lined up next to the 12.5” ThinkPad X220 I own, as you can see the Envy is quite a bit slimmer at the back and slightly thinner at the front. Lenovo calls the X220 an Ultraportable. To be fair, even though the X220 is thicker it weighs less. The X220 weighs 3.4lbs while the Envy 4t-1000 weighed in at just over 3.86lbs on my scales.

80% HP Envy 4-1043cl
Source: PC Mag English
We had high expectations for the HP Envy 4-1043cl, and while the ultrabook offers plenty of fine features, like Beats Audio, WiDi 2.0, and generous offerings in software and warranty—not to mention a strong performance boost from Intel's latest third-generation processors—it didn't leave us feeling quite so envious. We'd have like to have seen the Envy 4-1043cl match the higher resolution displays and longer battery life offered in similar priced competitors. While it doesn't dethrone the HP Folio 13-1020us as our Editors' Choice—still the best overall value we've seen in the ultrabook space—the HP Envy 4-1043cl is a great choice for anyone shopping with an eye toward performance.

79% Review HP Envy 4-1000sg Ultrabook | Notebookcheck
Entry-level Ultrabook. Premium slim and light chassis, fast processor, and a long battery life - those are the attributes of Ultrabooks. Until now, the prices for such systems have been rather steep. HP sets out to redefine the lower end of the spectrum and introduces a model with an Intel Core i3 processor. What compromises had to be made to keep the price in check?

70% HP Envy 4 1104TU Review
Source: Tech2.in.com English
The HP Envy 1104TU sells at a price of Rs. 52,990 here in India. For that price, you get most of what you get in the Spectre XT, but for a lot less. The Spectre XT was priced at Rs. 64,990. but the 1104TU is a good Rs. 12,000 less. In that price, you also get Windows 8 and a slightly more usable notebook thanks to its larger keyboard and screen. The only actual lacking feature is a built-in SSD.

Non demanding games should be playable with these graphics cards.

Intel HD Graphics 3000: Integrated graphics card in the Intel Sandy Bridge processors (Core ix-2xxx). The HD 3000 is the faster (internally GT2 called) version with 12 Execution Units (EUs).

Modern games should be playable with these graphics cards at low settings and resolutions. Casual gamers may be happy with these cards.

Intel HD Graphics 4000: Processor graphics card in the high end Ivy Bridge models. Offers a different clock speed in the different CPU models (ULV to desktop quad core) and therefore a different performance.

» Further information can be found in our Comparison of Mobile Graphics Cards and the corresponding Benchmark List.

Intel Core i3:

2367M: Power efficient ULV processor clocked at 1.4 GHz without Turbo boost. Offers an integrated HD 3000 clocked at slow 350 / 1000 MHz and a DDR3-1333 memory controller.

Intel Core i5:

3317U: Ivy-Bridge-based ULV-CPU in Q2 2012. Offers a core clock of 1.7 - 2.6 GHz and an HD 4000 GPU (350 - 1050 MHz). The TDP is rated at 17 W.

14.0: 14 inch display size is a mixture between the small formats of subnotebooks and the 15 inch standard display. The reason why so many people like displays with medium size is, that this size is not exhausting for the eyes, does not need too much energy and the laptops can be kept quite compact.

14.1: 14 inch display size is a mixture between the small formats of subnotebooks and the 15 inch standard display. The reason why so many people like displays with medium size is, that this size is not exhausting for the eyes, does not need too much energy and the laptops can be kept quite compact.

» To find out how fine a display is, see our DPI List.

1.7 kg:

This sub-notebook weighs less than the average of all notebooks and represents a medium class of weight among the sub-notebooks. 11 inch displays are normal for this class of weight.

1.8 kg:

These sub-notebooks weight less than the average of all notebooks, but represent a heavier class of weight among the sub-notebooks. 12 inch displays are normal for this class of weight.

79.38%: This rating is not convincing. The laptop is evaluated below average, this is not really a recommendation for purchase.
